Mobile Hoists

Hoists

Mobile hoists are great for helping carers or family members and users get around the home. They have wide opening legs for easy access to home products such as commodes and chairs. The legs then become narrower for access around the home through doorways when not in use. Mobile Hoists can be folded for neat storage.

Once the user is hoisted the transition from chair to bed is smooth as the hoist wheels glide easily and the hoists lift takes the weight of the person to enable the carer or family member to simply push or pull the hoist into position.

Standing Aids

Standing aids are hoists which enable a person to be lifted into a standing position for transfer. They are for people who have ability to weight bear as they are designed for the user to be standing but with support of a sling and correct positioning. The hoist does the work of the lifting to stand movement.

Once in a standing position the hoist can be moved to the point of transfer such as bed or chair and then allows the lowering of the person again with the help of sling.
