Person Hoists

Getting in and out of cars can be tricky for some people for various different reasons. At Clark and Partners we have a solution. We can supply and fit a person hoist making transferring a person from their wheelchair or mobility scooter easier and safer.

Person hoists can lift someone up to 120kg in weight (nearly 19 stones) meaning there’s less effort and reduced risk of injury for a carer. depending on the model, some have a fixed door bracket, whilst others have a removable bracket, meaning the hoist can be used in other vehicles. In both cases, once the transfer has taken place, the sling can be detached and stored in the boot, allowing more room in the car for the user.
