Positioning a car’s front seats further back using extended seat runners can benefit a number of users. Someone who is particularly tall or someone who struggles to bend their legs can have more room to get their legs in. They’re also ideal for drivers who load a manual wheelchair into the car by lifting it across their body into the passenger side. The bigger space provided by being able to move the seat further back, makes it less likely that they will catch themselves or the steering wheel with the wheelchair. Using new or existing seat runners, our engineers can reposition the chair of a car to allow it to slide further back than in regular cars.
