The Oxford Deluxe Standing sling is suitable for patients who have greater weight bearing ability. It allows excellent access for toileting and is exceptionally easy to fit, providing quick and effective transfers. It can be used for transfer to a seated position on a bed, chair or commode to another seated position. This sling is also ideal for facilitating rehabilitation activities such as assisted standing.

It provides excellent comfort thanks to the fully padded design. The waist band can be adjusted to enhance support and security. Meanwhile, the non-slip fabric ensures the back doesn’t ride-up into an unsafe position. Handy colour coded loops assist with correct positioning.

Patients should be carefully assessed for suitability prior to use as this sling is not for general purpose. It is not suitable for double amputees or lifting a patient from a horizontal position. Also unsuitable for transfers to baths. Suitable for use in a range of settings including the care home, hospitals and residential home.
