The Rascal Vie transportable scooter (or boot scooter) is great value and can travel up to 13 miles on a single charge. Use it for popping to the shops or take it apart with the easy to use mechanism, and put it in the back of the car. It’s ideal for those who find walking longer distances more challenging. Despite being affordable, it is comfortable and practical. The heaviest part weighs just 14.8kg and it has a maximum user weight of 19 stone.

The Vie is easy to manoeuvre with a tight turning circle and delta tiller. The delta shape allows you to steer with your hands in any comfortable position and single-handed. It features practical puncture-proof foam filled tyres and a swivel seat for ease of mounting and alighting. Another practical feature is the battery that can be detached and charged separately, so that the whole scooter doesn’t have to be taken to the charging point.

Despite the low price, you can still expect the same level of quality as the rest of Electric Mobilities Rascal range. Available in red or blue, it also has a handy front storage basket. Like other pavement scooters, it has a top speed of 4mph.

Delivery when ordering online is just £50.00. This includes as standard:

• Batteries fully charged
• Scooter fully assembled and ready to use
• Delivered to and inside your home

We do not offer a white glove service, because this is our standard service given to every customer. Alternatively you can chose to collect the scooter from your local store, you can do this in the delivery options at the checkout. There is no charge for collecting from a store.

In the unfortunate event you have any problems with your scooter our team of engineers are on hand to help get you going again.

This scooter is available on Motability. The Motability scheme is available to those who receive the higher rate PIP allowance and can use part of their allowance to help purchase a powered wheelchair or scooter. The scheme for scooters runs for 3 years and covers all insurance, repair and maintenance costs.
