Service & Repair

We understand that buying mobility equipment is a significant purchase. For this reason it’s important that you benefit from full use of your product for many years to come.

Service Contracts

Looking after your equipment keeps it in good working order and therefore reduces the risk of problems. So it’s worth considering taking out a service contract to protect against any problems with your new product. A service contract is simply a pre-paid service for any product, and we will visit you once annually to check that everything is working properly.

We will contact you to book the service at a time to suit you and it is carried out either at your home or within our workshop, whichever you prefer. We keep a record of your full service history, which is useful if you sell the product and a full service history can also help with any warranty or insurance claims.

If you select a service contract at the time of purchase, you will receive a discount on standard pricing, however, should you wish to service the product at a later date, after purchase, you can call us anytime and pay a standard service price.

Call our Service team today for a quote on a service contract on 0114 229 3377.

Insurance protects you, your product and anyone or anything which could become damaged. It works the same as your car insurance. For a small amount you can be protected if you injure yourself or someone else whilst using your product. It’s especially advisable on scooters, as these are taken out and about. If you damage something or someone in public you could be liable for hefty bills. Insurance covers legal fees (depending on your policy type) and also smaller things such as lost keys or theft of product.

It’s very affordable for equipment such as mobility scooters and starts from as little as £79.80 / year.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

The manufacturer’s warranty is included as standard with purchase of a product and is often for 1 year from the date of purchase. It covers any mechanical or electrical breakdown, plus parts and labour during the warranty period. Consumables or damage caused by a user is not covered within the warranty. It covers the product only, so if you wish to cover yourself and others, an Insurance policy would be required. Batteries are covered within the warranty period.

Extended Warranty

When any manufacturer warranty expires, the product is not covered should it break down, we therefore recommend extended warranty. This covers exactly the same as the manufacturer. You may not wish to commit to anything longer than 12 or 24 months, however, if you use the product daily you should consider how you would pay for any expensive repair bills. As any product gets older and is frequently used, the risk of breaking down can increase, so it is even more important to protect equipment in later life than during the first year.

Add extra peace of mind from as little as £119.80 / year.
