High seat or fireside chairs have no mechanical options and less choices, they are usually straight backed to provide a upright sitting position and the arms of the chair aid from sitting to standing.

Profiling beds have an electrically controlled mechanism which operates the bed base to move in independent sections, this allows the user to achieve multiple positions to get comfort and support. Both nursing and residential beds are available depending on the environment they are needed for and require a suitable accompanying mattress to ensure the optimum solution.
