Mobile Hoists
Hoists that can be used in multiple spaces
We have a wide range of mobile hoists and patient lifts from leading manufacturers like Invacare and Joerns. Their features vary such as those with higher user weight limits or those with electronically operated legs. We also have standing aids to raise active users to standing positions or aid with rehabilitation activities. We can deliver to your property or choose to collect from one of our four stores in Sheffield, Rotherham or Derby.
Firstly, mobile hoists are great for helping carers or family members and users get around the home. They have wide opening legs for easy access to home products such as commodes and chairs. The legs then become narrower for access around the home through doorways when not in use. Not only this, these hoists can be folded for neat storage.
Once the user is hoisted the transition from chair to bed is smooth as the hoist wheels glide easily and the hoists lift takes the weight of the person to enable the carer or family member to simply push or pull the hoist into position.

Easy to use within environments where space is limited.

Has great range and can handle the most critical transfers.

Compact but with great lifting capacity.

A favourite in both nursing and community environments.

Easy to move, lightweight and compact.

Heavy duty with and incredible range of movement.
Standing aids are hoists which enable a person to be lifted into a standing position for transfer. They are for people who have the ability to weight bear as they are designed for the user to be standing but with support of a sling and correct positioning. The hoist does the work of the lifting to stand movement.
Once in a standing position, the hoist can be moved to the point of transfer such as a bed or chair, and then allows the lowering of the person, again with the help of sling. They can get incredibly close to the point of transfer, meaning they can even be used to get in the car or visit the toilet. Often, a footplate can be removed, allowing supported walking, giving a greater sense of independence.

Used for transporting patients or assisting patients in walking.

Compact enough to use even in small bathrooms.
