Home lifts
The easy way to get up & down stairs
If your stairs become a challenge, then a domestic home lift, or vertical indoor lift, is an affordable alternative to a stairlift to enable you to continue to enjoy all of your home.
Whether standing, sitting or using a wheelchair, a home lift allows you to move safely and effortlessly between floors.
We have been enabling customers in our region (Yorkshire and Derbyshire) to retain access to their upper floors with lifts, for over 20 years.
We work with leading manufacturers such as Wessex and Stiltz to provide customers with choice and solutions. As a result there has rarely been a home we haven’t been able to install a lift in.
From survey, to plans, through building work, electrics, final install and maintenance…..we do it all. As Trusted Assessors we understand the importance of practicality for the home and those who live there.
We offer a range of through-floor lifts so that we can work with both private customers and healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and case managers. From a feasibility survey we provide detailed plans, deal with any structural matters and local authority building control.
Where other home adaptations are required, such as level access showering, wash dry toilets or hoisting, then we can combine and coordinate these works alongside the lift to ensure that you have a single, local, responsible provider.

The journey to having a home lift starts with an assessment at which there are 3 important considerations.
During survey and assessment, we discuss the options available, lift placement, user requirement and accessibility information, as well as how your home will be affected during an installation and how we work to keep you safe.
Following our survey we will present you with our proposed solutions, along with detailed scale drawings and a written quotation.
The Home – The practicality of the home, the position of the lift, the internal structure, will it support a home lift installation.
The Person – Do the practicalities work for you and your carers and do they allow you to maintain your daily activities.
The Future – What may change and can we help “future proof” the home. We are looking at tomorrow’s solution too.
