The Joerns Oxford Journey Stand Aid is aptly named. It can be used for transporting patients or assisting patients in walking. It can also be folded and placed in a car for use outside of the home. Joerns have designed it with the carer in mind, as well as the patient. Thanks to being so lightweight and compact, the care-giver can manoeuvre it easily even in confined spaces. When folded, its compact enough to easily be stored away.
There are a range of features to make it easily adjustable for different users. The height adjustable knee pads and adjustable cow-horns mean it can be tailored to suit users of different heights and sizes. The patient feels comfortable and fully supported. Standing and Transporting slings are available to help carers with a range of duties. It can be used for standing, toileting or moving from point to point. Thanks to the removable footrest, it can also be used to assist walking and rehabilitation activities.
