Using a lithium battery and aircraft grade aluminium for its chassis, the Illusion scooter really is one of the lightest of its kind – revolutionising boot scooters.

Being ultra-lightweight it breaks down into 5 easy to manage pieces making vehicle loading much easier than standard boot scooters. The heaviest section weighs just under 10kg and the airline-safe lithium battery has been compared to the weight of a handbag!

The Illusion boot scooter’s lightweight appeal does not affect its stability. The scooter is light but strong, offering a max range of 10 miles at 4MPH, with a maximum user weight of 18 stone. It has all round suspension which coupled with is spacious foam seat and roomy shallow floorplate provides a smooth and comfortable ride.

A comfort grip delta handlebar and an adjustable tiller help to achieve optimum driving positions. Powerful LED lights help in driving conditions with low light.

It can be charged with the battery removed, so you can leave the scooter in the car boot or can be charged when assembled by plugging into the tiller charging point.

The Illusion has been a great hit with Clark & Partners since it was launched in 2020. It is one of our favourite scooters.

Its lightness offers something unique for customers, breaking down into 5 pieces means anyone can lift this scooter in and out of a car boot easily, allowing customers and relatives much more independence. Customers often visit asking for a folding scooter due to their compact appearance, but they are deceivingly heavy. The Illusion takes the lifting hassle out of the equation.

We haven’t yet mentioned how stylish this scooter is, it’s a sleek design with metallic paintwork and silver battery box. It comes in 3 colours, Blue, Purple and Grey, each one looks stunning.

There are three lithium battery sizes available, meaning you can go even further without the need to charge.

Delivery when ordering online is just £50.00 this includes as standard

• Batteries fully charged
• Scooter fully assembled and ready to use
• Delivered to and inside your home

We do not offer a white glove service, this is our standard service given to every customer. Alternatively you can chose to collect the scooter from your local store, you can do this in the delivery options at the checkout. There is no charge for collecting from a store.

In the unfortunate event you have any problems with your scooter our team of engineers are on hand to help get you going again.

We love selling scooters online but we do recommend visiting one of our stores and purchasing for the same price. There you will get a full introduction into the scooter of your choice as well as a full test drive and assessment to ensure this is the right scooter for you.

The Illusion scooter is available on Motability. The Motability scheme is available to those who receive the higher rate PIP allowance and can use part of their allowance to help purchase a powered wheelchair or scooter. The illusion scooter costs roughly £19.70 per week through the scheme. The scheme for scooters runs for 3 years and covers all insurance, repair and maintenance costs.
