The Kensington mattress has been specifically designed for the Bradshaw and Cantona profiling beds (adjustable beds). Like the Sandringham, it features deep layers of hand-tufted fillings and individual British steel springs. Each calico encased spring moves separately to contour to the user and offer the best support. This also accommodates for weight distribution and the profiling action. However, this is the next step up in luxury as it also has a generous 50mm memory foam layer, as opposed to fibre fillings. They’re available in five sizes and two mattresses (2 x 2’3″ or 2×3′) can be used on the dual action profiling Cantona and Bradshaw beds.
This a soft firmness mattress. It is soft and comfortable in the middle for sleeping on, these mattresses have a firm outer edge. This makes it easier for the user to transfer to and from the bed. It has a 18 stone user limit, meaning it can be used by most people. For longevity, the mattress can be turned and flipped as both sides are suitable for sleeping on. It has an 8 inch thickness and is breathable for comfort.
