This includes full setup, testing, and a product walkthrough to ensure you're completely
comfortable before we leave. No packaging to deal with, no assembly needed - just a seamless
experience.
UK Mainland Delivery – £50
For addresses outside our local delivery area, delivery is handled directly by the manufacturer.
This is a standard courier service, meaning your item will arrive boxed and delivered to your
doorstep (kerbside only). You'll be responsible for unpacking, assembly, and disposing of packaging.
The £50 charge covers this service.
Important Note on Faults & Returns
Please be aware that for deliveries outside of South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, any returns
or fault-related issues must be brought back to our Orgreave store. We're happy to assist
in-store, but unfortunately cannot collect items from elsewhere in the UK.

Quickie Krypton
Constructed from carbon fibre the Quickie Krypton Wheelchair is the lightest fully adjustable wheelchair. Available in rigid (R model) and folding frame (F model), both with superior styling.
Over four decades, Quickie’s scientists have tasked themselves with developing the lightest and best-performing materials for their active-user wheelchairs. Carbon fibre has been found to out-perform aluminium and even titanium. It’s 7.4 times stronger than titanium, as well as being 2.5 times lighter. It’s 88% more resistant to deformation than aluminium!
Their revolutionary Krypton X BRAID technology creates a constant weave in the frame tubing. This ensures ZERO weak links and delivering a consistent and precise result EVERY TIME. This lightweight and ultra-strong material means the user has exert less energy as there’s less mass to propel and energy isn’t wasted by movement in the frame. For this reason, the R model is the lightest and most efficient Quickie Krypton. It weighs from just 3.65kg when dismantled, yet can support a maximum user weight of 125kg.
The F model, whilst slightly heavier at 5.8kg dismantled, is the lightest folding carbon fibre wheelchair in the world. It has all the convenience of folding horizontally for compact storage. The folding back feature and removable wheels help make it even more compact if needed.
Both models are fully configurable, guaranteeing a comfortable ride that allows you to find the optimum driving position for, again, greater energy efficiency.

ASSESSMENT & DELIVERY
The Quickie Krypton requires an assessment with one of our product experts, that’s why you are unable to order this directly from our website (our ethical trading policy explains more)
An assessment can be done either at your home or in our store. We have stores in Sheffield, Rotherham and Derby and we offer our services locally. We want to offer a premium back up once your chair has been delivered and staying locally means we are always on hand to be readily available.
Unlike some mobility retailers, we do not charge for an assessment at home or in our store and delivery and handover is free, inside your home and fully set up, charged and working. This delivery is sometimes referred to as ‘white glove’ or ‘engineer delivery’ but from us, this is standard with every delivery!
