Delivery & Assembly

The Quickie Xenon 2 Wheelchair is the ideal match for those with a very active lifestyle who depend on an ultra lightweight yet stiff wheelchair. Delivering all the performance of a rigid wheelchair but with the convenience of a folding chair.

From just 8.8kg it’s probably the lightest wheelchair of its kind. This is thanks to the ovalised tubing (creating strength) and ShapeLoc Technology which further increases its strength, whilst allowing for thinner tube walls, decreasing the overall weight.  Sunrise Medical have included a new unique cross-brace and combined it with a completely re-designed axle stem. This makes the Xenon² an ultra-lightweight wheelchair that’s easy to fold, lift and transport. It’s been intelligently designed to create the kind of minimalistic style that you’d expect from a rigid, active wheelchair.

There’s three Quickie Xenon 2 models to choose from. The FF (Fixed Front), designed to be the lightest. The Hybrid, both light and strong with a maximum user weight of 140kg. Finally, the SA (Swing Away) that folds to be the most compact for easier car storage, with swing away legs to allow for easier standing transfers.

A unique cross-brace fits incredibly neatly under the seat and is barely noticeable. It gives a very minimalistic, open-frame look that you’d normally associate with a rigid wheelchair. Make it even more stylish with a choice of 32 frame colours and five fork/castor colours to choose from.
