Just like the Homeglide, the Homeglide Extra straight stairlift is ultra reliable, but has some extra benefits to make using the stairlift even easier.
It has a powered linked footrest, this makes folding and unfolding the seat and foot rest easy. When you lower the seat the footrest folds down with it, reducing the need for bending down.
The seat is also powered operated and height adjustable. When arriving at the stop position the seat will swivel automatically, further reducing the need for reaching and bending to manually operate the seat swivel. The height adjustment allows us to find the most comfortable height position for you when using your lift.

The Homeglide Extra stairlift is fitted directly to your staircase rather than the wall which means fitting causes minimal disruption and we keep this stairlift in stock to offer fast installation timescales.
It is packed with safety features including footplate safety edges, during travel if your stairlift comes in contact with an obstacle on the stairs it will automatically stop. The upholstery is soft for comfort but also fire retardant and liquid resistant. And the lift is battery powered, so in the event of a power cut your lift will still work.
Optional extras are available for this stairlift such as a folding rail option for tighter spaces and a integrated call device which allows you to call up to 3 stored numbers directly from the seat in case of emergency.
